i can put him back on the purina en from the vet but it is 100% corn and i would rather not feed him that if i dont have to.

I switched Riley's diet when I brought him home to Royal Canin... I then switched him to Acana at about 8 months old. I recently, at 2-years old switched him to FROMM and he had a terrible reaction to the grains. I have now switched him back to Acana/Pacifica.
Yeah.... I would stay far away from Purina, if you can help it.
