 A better day
Well I have been doing some research at the suggestion of a friend and have been finding some very useful information. I have decided to make an appointment with the internal specialist in my area but I am gathering all of my information so that I go in an informed mommy.
I spent yesterday being sad and scared and today I am on a mission. Im not sure that Charlie needs to have surgery, while he does have a couple of things that could fall into the category of a shunt he also does NOT have most of them and the few that he has I have found to have many varying opinions on if they are shunt related. The symptoms that everyone seems to agree on Charlie does not have.
So I would be a fool not to go to the specialist because I of course am not a doctor but I am going to be more informed when I go. Charlie is NOT going to eat the L/D can food I have seen allot of info on a Hills hepatic food that is supposed to be low in purines, I think it comes in a crunchy type he might like that, has anyone used it? |
