Those general books about the Yorkshire Terrier or Petsmart trainers probably don't give you the foundational knowledge of what you need to understand about a dog to really prepare you how to successfully train one - or it would be working better for you. Go online & get a book about dog training from a successful dog trainer like Victoria Stillwell who will teach you how a dog thinks & what works, won't work with a "hard-headed" dog or one that "won't listen". Since you have a problem with the dog always responding or misbehavior, what you have been doing teaching her has to be rethought & retrained. If you don't learn what to do yourself when she won't respond or misbehaves, unless you are ready to pay a reputable dog trainer a good bit of money to train your dog & you, your dog will probably stay the same.

I have never worked with an untrainable dog except a Yorkie that was actually brain-damaged I had as a rescue - and even she learned some things while I had her.
