Tried the Pet Smart trainer and discussed my problem with no success of the training. I have a male that hardly barks. My female barks anytime anyone goes in or out or anytime my husband get's out of a chair. I tried spraying her with water or making loud noises. She respects me shaking a newspaper at her. We take her camping and she even jumps on dash of RV barking at people. I tell her quiet, no bark but means nothing. She barks when I go out and acts at times like she would bite me. She has just started to growl at grandkids and tries to nip them if they get near me. I need help? I love my dogs! I spoke with Pet Smart trainer just now and she said no shock collar but I could try the vibrating one with no harm to her. She said she might not pay any attention to it if she isn't a more timid dog. I know it would scare my male but my female has showed no fear to anything. Even big dogs she goes after. |
