I don't know that they are cruel or meant to be cruel; however, I feel that anything attached unwillingly to any living breathing person or animal intentionally to cause discomfort, in any form, for reasons other than the health and welfare of the living and breathing person or animal is cruel.

You need additional professional training and an all out pact with yourself to get to the root of this behavior, your baby is helpless...
