You might start putting her treat in her pen so that going into the pen is less of a punishment to her. That way she will not think of the pen as a punishment but as something to look forward to instead. You need to just quietly walk up to her, pick her up and put her in. Don't call her. Don't let her know it is bed time. Just pick her up and put her in with a treat already waiting for her inside the pen. Eventually she will start wanting to go in. Be patient and kind. Don't raise your voice or sound upset. Make sure her treat is something she really likes. Something like chicken or cheese. Getting upset is only going to make matters worse. |
