I don't know how common this is, but my cousins yorkie has had this problem during stressful situations, as well. Most recently when they brought their new baby home from the hospital. I know they take her to the vet to make sure everything is alright, but my cousin did mention this was the third time it has happened. As far as I know it has always been stress induced and she has always checked out healthy at the vet. Glad to hear your baby is ok now that your family is back home.
