I have two yorkies. Maverick who is 4 has a docked tail and Remington who is just a little over 1 has a full tail. When I went to get Remington the breeder said that he didn't feel comfortable docking the puppies tails. I must admit, I didn't know how I felt about it because I had only ever seen Yorkies with docked tails. At this point in time, I couldn't imagine Remy any other way. He is so proud of his tail and wags it constantly. I don't know that I would ever get another yorkie with a docked tail, especially since I have looked into how it is done. AND....in many countries docking of tails and cropping of ears in now illegal. I must admit, I love my little tail wagger.
As far as dewclaws, my little one was born with double dewclaws on one foot. The vet removed that one at the same time he was neutered because it was getting getting caught on things and was a nuisance. Both of the boys have their other dewclaws intact.
