Harrysmum: The crate that I have has her bed on one side and a divider with a pee pad on the other..She sleeps on the pee pad half the night and on her bed the other half, she's not peeing on her pee pad in her crate. Its kinda heavy, and my guy works so hard during the day that I didn't want her to wake him up whining even a little bit, that is why I started laying on the rug next to her in our front entryway. He's going out of town for a couple days, I might try moving the crate into the bedroom next to me while he's gone and see how it works (I haven't slept in my bed for a week! LOL)...So when you leave her for short periods of time, do you take all bedding out? She is a chewing fool, and I'm sure the bed would be ripped to shreds if I wasn't around.
