Thank you for the prayers. No, that is the weird thing. It looks red but it is absolutely cool to the touch. I have been checking it a lot!
I would go to the ER but I know the will not do anything for me. The last time we went we sat in the hospital until Monday when my surgeon came in. He is out of town right now and I really don't want to be in there waiting on him if it is not an emergency. My friend who is a nurse thinks it is not an emergency situation but felt he needs to be seen to make sure there isn't anything going on that shouldn't be. She thinks my son needs an MRI to make sure there is nothing there. Well, the surgeon will have to set this up for me. So I am at a waiting game at this point. If it gets worse, my pediatrician will definitively see us.
