We have a male Maltese and he gets along great with my Yorkie. I think the 2 breeds are very compatable both in size and temperament. An excellent place to get your maltese is Always Maltese. The Fawcetts LIVE for the Maltese breed and they have excellent, excellent puppies! They are so dedicated to the breed. They are out of Alabama but they do ship.
