Default This bothered me...

I ran across this kennel on accident, then browsed around a bit. There is a pic on this page of a clipped yorkie male. On the left hand side. Under his picture it states "he has been clipped to keep from getting hair knots which is a usda and state requirement".

I just can't get over that. I really despise usda liscensed kennels. I'm sorry if I offend anyone with that statement, but I just get so angry at some of the things I see. One of the MANY joys of owning my yorkies is their beautiful coats. Sometimes I do a bit of scissoring for sanitation reasons, but I'll grow it back out better than ever. I had my boy done in a lion clip; keeping his beautiful facial hair and hair on head. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I could never abide by such regulations as the usda enforces. I know that they also force breeders to keep their breeding stock in a seperate facility, other than their home. This saddens me. But at the same time I look over at my gang all piled up on one of their many beds and I say a prayer and thank God that I am blessed and my babies are blessed. When I read that under that poor yorkies picture on the website I guess it just really bothered me and I needed to vent.

Here's the site:
