Check out the "Enough Barking" sticky here. I have been successful in the past with first teaching the "watch me" command. Take a favorite small treat - only a tiny bit - bring it to the dogs nose to get his attention then say the dog's name & watch me in a happy tone while bringing the treat up your eyes. Give the treat the second he looks in your eyes. Once you have that reliably working you can teach "speak" & "enough" & follow the sticky instructions. It's worth a try anyway. Good luck! |
