I've seen several cases like this on the TV judge shows and the plantiff always wins, so you could get the difference between the amount you would pay for a purebred vs. what you would pay for a mixed breed. You would sue her under small claims courts, which require no attorney, you act as your own, and the filing fee is usually $10.00. You can sue for up to $2,000, I don't know the exact amount, you can google it, but you would need proof of purchase, and the classified ad.
