Basically, it worthless, and since she advertised AKC pups, and that is a purebred registry which requires proof from the breeder, you could sue. I've seen several cases like this on the TV judge shows and the plantiff always wins, so you could get the difference between the amount you would pay for a purebred vs. what you would pay for a mixed breed. You would sue her under small claims courts, which require no attorney, you act as your own, and the filing fee is usually $10.00. You can sue for up to $2,000, I don't know the exact amount, you can google it, but you would need proof of purchase, and the classified ad.
