Why are you giving her a milk replacement supplement?
You should not being giving calcium to her before birth as it can cause eclampsia. You give calcium after birth to prevent eclampsia.
Once a pup is out and you've cut the cord and dried it, try to get it to nurse. Nursing will stimulate contractions so the next pup can come.
Make sure all placentas are accounted for, you don't want a retained placenta.
Most importantly have your vet number on hand in case you need them. |
