I think it's good with new puppies especially to leave the pee pads down for several days so that they will keep going back to the scent of where they went before.

I use washable pee pads and I change them sometimes daily and sometimes every couple of days if they haven't used them much. At this time of year they go outside more than using the pads but I change them more in the winter.
