You are going to have to watch her every second. Don't let her out of your sight. She is in a strange place and needs boundries just like any puppy. You can either tether her to you and keep at your side every second or get and exercise pen to confine her. Personally, I think an exercise pen is a good idea for small amounts of time but they don't really learn alot about house training buy being confined all the time. If you see her start to look like she is going to pee put her on the pad and stay there with her talking to her in a low but happy voice. When she does go in the right place give her a treat and highly praise her. I doubt that the pervious owners gave her free run of the house. She was probably confined to a small area.
