We were told by my Maggie May's breeder that she would probably be 4 1/2 lbs. She was 2 lbs at 11 weeks when we got her. She was pretty much right on the breeders mark for the first year. After that she's put on a tiny bit of weight, she fluctuates between 5.1 - 5.4 lbs. She looks like what I've heard dogs should look like when they are at the optimum weight, the hour glass shape when you look down at them. She's a bit tall so I'm guessing that's why she's at the 5 lb mark. |
