Lillie is a VERY happy, bouncy, playful little girl...the day after she got her shot she wouldn't eat, drink, play...nothing! Usually if she hears a knock on the door she fly's to the door barking...she wouldn't even do this...VERY lethargic, just laid on the couch and looked up at me with the most pitiful look in her eyes...which were not bright and shiny.....I knew something was wrong with her...I called my vet and he told me to bring her in right away...He gave her a shot...I THINK prednosone.....he made us stay in the exam room for over 30 mins and kept coming back and checking on her,,,,she started to perk up a bit...he brought in some food to see if she would eat and she did!...He wrote in her chart...no more lyme shot...and,...didn't charge me...I don't use this vet anymore(another story for another day)...went back to my old vet...I don't even want to think what would have happened if I hadn't brought her in when I did.
