My vet said that their eating poop is an indication that they're lacking in some mineral that they need and gets from the poop want to eat. If they are getting the right nutrients from their food, they will stop eating poop.
What I would do is sprinkle ground pepper on the poop. Mojo took a sniff and sneezed and walked away from the poop. hehehe. Now their doggie bag has a small bottle of ground pepper coz I sure dont want to pick up somebody else's dog poop. hehehe. Im trying to see if I can associate the reaction of sneezing with the smell of poop so Mojo will just instinctively stay away from it. So far, Mojo hasnt shown any interest in poop... then again, I changed his dog food.
Btw, I asked vet if ground pepper have any adverse effect on puppies and he said he doesnt think so and he actually impressed with the idea hehehehe.
