When Gracie was that age we still had some kittens left from a litter we took in. She was busy all the time making sure those kittens were behaving as she thought they should. She had such a good time with them and it certainly kept her busy.
At 5 months they do still need to be kept in just one room and under supervision all the time. It's so easy for them to get distracted and forget. They are still just babies at that stage. I kept Gracie with me no matter what room I was in and if I was not able to take her out I would keep a pee pad near by. Once she was older I was able to cut down the number of pee pad sites I had but that was a slow process. |
