I received the choke-free shoulder harnesses for the boys today!!! This is what the vet recommended! I had several for Remy (in fact her sb - curri bee gave her a new one this GE ) because I was worried about
trekia issues...but I have learned that walking dogs with a leash attached to collars can cause back and neck issues too.
It is true you can't prevent all problems... but by posting here I may help someone else. Moral --- down with collars
The vet said we could do a very short walk with Bailey using the harness. We didn't go far -- partly because he was slow and because I really hurt my foot the other day. I am so glad it is summer and because I am a teacher I will have some time off... I need it
