This bag actually does have mesh on both ends as well and much more mesh then the KB which someone said worked for their airline travel. She also recommended that it could go on its side under the seat. I have flown almost every week for the past 5 years so know what the space limitations are. I feel sure this will work. I actually measured it against my briefcase that goes on all flights with me and it is a little narrower than that so I a, confident it will work under the seat. however I will report back after my trip the end of this month and let everyone know how it works.
