I am so pleasantly surprised that they can take an OTC med! Cheaper plus no special trip to the vet - can just pick that up at the grocery/drug stores. Once we know for sure it is just GERD & not something worse the H2-blocker could mask, Tibbe will likely go on it. But doc(and I) want another looksee since he's still sporadically symptomatic & a chance at palpating some more things a couple days down the road from his Monday visit, maybe a sono or something, can help to be sure it's solely GERD or not GERD plus something else.
