Oh, I would never give him an H2-blocker or anything else after being told I couldn't use the Maalox without the vet examining him again, though Monday the other vet there mentioned we might have to put him on Pepcid or something like it. I was just shocked to hear that they would let you give cheaper OTC version of it & something frightfully expensive from the vet clinic. That would be a plus, an OTC drug for Tibbe, since his vet bills have been mounting this year! Plus, that 1/2 pill sounded a bit high for a little Yorkie but maybe in Jack's case, he needed that size dose. I sure hope if he does get started on it, it helps him so he doesn't have these up & down days of not feeling well. I know I have new lines in my face from these last few weeks!
