Sidebar: it just bugs me that NV uses flax in so many of their products, when it truly does irritate some dogs' skin issues  . I don't know why they don't just use salmon oil.

Yes, I would use the kibble with the freeze dried nuggets added. I don't know that flax has been an issue with Megan.
You know, it's frustrating because I have her sister from the same litter and her other sister that we rescued now lives with my sister (that's a lot of sisters I know...and that ain't all...I have 6 of my own!) and they are both fine...it's just my Miss Moo that got the allergies
Not that I would want to share them with her sisters but it would be nice if they were all 3 allergy free
