I use the Balanceit supplement. I purchased it as a suggestion from the recipe I got from Dr. Remillard. I think it is a good supplement for home cooking as I home cook myself. My Rosie has IBS and the recipe and supplement we are using has worked wonders for her.
In 107barney's reply, I think she just meant that if you are feeding home cooking without a supplement even if it is a vet recommended recipe, the supplement is used to "balance" it out. Any home cooked meal, in my understanding, needs supplements in order for the pup to get everything needed. I don't think she was meaning it in a rude way. Just saying that since you are a determined individual you will get the right supplement your pup needs. She is very knowledgeable in regards to home cooking. I have to give her lots of credit for getting me started. She can be a great asset to you on home cooking. |
