HI, there are different kinds of hair cuts that you can give your yorkie. The most common are the schnauzer cut where the top of body is short and the head, legs are long and around the body is long its like the dog has a skirt around. I tried this cut on my male yorkie because he has more of a thicker, wooly coat and it did not work out so I gave him another common yorkie cut which is the chinese crested cut, where the whole body is cut short but just the head, legs and tail is long and I love it on him. I cut his face hair a bit shorter and he has his leg hairs long and his tail, he looks so cute and its so much easier to maintain. Then you have the puppy cut where the coat is cut shorter all throughout the body. Regardless of the cut you give your pup they all look cute in any of these cuts. Now with his facial hair I would just tie up his hair in a top knot to keep his hair away from his eyes if he has shorter hairs near his eyes tie up his hair in a top knot then add a clip to hold his shorter hairs near his eyes thats what I do to my male and it works and it looks really cute.
