Some of the great literature is tough reading at times & frankly, to me, often boring - but oh, the drama & the characters & the fabulous stories' twists & turns are top notch usually, once you get past the draggy parts & often endless flow of consciousness. The greats were true to their characters - always loved that! I think we had to read Les Miz in high school but can't recall a thing about it if we did.
