Papers, sorry to be confusing, papers as in her ticket, piece of picture ID, our animal shelter issues them for a cost but check your vet, most planes do not require health certs, but they DO need to know she is coming on board, but if you have current vaccination records that's good, the current print out from the vet
should be good. I would say yes to in the arms in the airport, but play it by ear, listen to HER. It's a big scary world out there. I would not put her in the bag til I was right ready to board, you know as well as I the plane is awful, small and smelly. Even though her bag is better than that it's still a long time to be in it. Just a thought. About the collar, I personally am against collars, our dogs have small tender throats. I am for the harness. The underarm body type, OK el cheapo at the walmat w/matching leash $10-15. The harness type with some kind of ID tags on it, dog name, your name, phone #, You can get that at the walmart too, any place that sells pet stuff, you know the drill, BUT if you have to grab Gracie, to protect her from that crazy ______ fill in the blank, you have a solid harness hand hold and can protect her, snatch her up, OH don't forget the large "NO". I know crazy, but they already think your the crazy dog lady. It is SO neat that you can take Gracie with you on your work trips, helps to calm you down from that craziness of the travel and work. BTW just a thought, IF this works out, the traveling w/Gracie and work thingy you might check into the HOME AGAIN pet program, its a pet locator program with the micro chip she has, the way I know about it is we travel a fair amount and this way no matter where Sprocket is his home info is there including his vet etc. a thought for later. As I said Have FUN, everyone here can tell you the best travel spots to take your dog in their city, whether Gracie is SEEN or UNSEEN, LOL that's the advantage of the KB bag right?
