They do like to walk separately but then the one left behind gets sad and the one that got to go gets an attitude. I walk together like Cesar (dog whisperer) says, I am trying to make them a pack. If they snip now that Abby can hold her own, and I think it is over me, I turn my back and remove myself from the area.
