This wasn't the first time, but maybe the worst... I have talked to these neighbors till I'm blue in the face about the leash laws here... he already had to have his first PB euthanized (court ordered) when it endangered a child trying to attack another neighbor's Rottie. I guess some folks just don't learn.

for you. I am thankful there was a happy ending. |
I'd like to take credit, lol, but I was so freaked out seeing her come out of the 2nd story window, I think I went into shock, and then everything happened in slow motion. I've had the slow motion thing happen a few times before this, but only when I was sure I was going to die.

I was prepared TO FIGHT that dog to the death to protect Tatiana. I was UNAFRAID. I stood my ground, and stared hard at the dog running towards us. As I said, I was ready to fight. I said nothing, but the dog sensed my mindset. It stopped about 3 feet from us, and looked at me. Then it turn around, and ran back where it came from! |
I had thought about picking up my Yorkie, but I thought maybe the PB hadn't seen him and was coming for me or my GSD. Then I had visions of the PB tearing into my GSD, and me standing there helpless holding my Yorkie. I think too if my dogs had been reacting, and normally they would have been, I probably would have picked him up...
