I leave Monkey's dry food out at all times. He's very spoiled...he'll let me know when it needs to be freshened up...usually by mid afternoon. He likes his food fresh out of the container. He'll cratch really hard at the edges of his bowl when he doesn't want what's in his bowl (and he doesn't have much of a choice) or when he wants a fresh refill on food OR water (loves the cold purified water from the fridge)...lol
Unfortunately, I do sometimes end up throwing away at least a little food. I try to trick him and mix the food that's been out with a little fresh food from the container, but most of the time, he ain't havin' it.
