Congrats on Marley - he is a cutie! I got my guy at 9 weeks (I did NOT intend to get a pet, we just found each other and I had done ZERO research until after the fact). He has been in bed with us since night #2, and I believe it would be impossible to change - not that I want to, but Teresa gives great advice about getting them use to the crate for when crating is needed. We only had 1 pee accident on the bed at first, but I was getting up 2 times in the middle of the night to go outside. My only advice is - get on a schedule and he will eventually adjust to it. It's like having an infant at first, but enjoy the puppy days they sure grow up fast!
