 Pheno and Frontline Plus issues>?
Anyone else have experience with a dog taking Pheno no longer effectively being able to use topical flea control?
Elvis since taking Pheno seems to be the only one Frontline Plus doesn't work for.
I end up using either Neem oil or DE shampoo every three days to keep him flea free, but when we've gone a week, he'll come back from the yard with fleas again & they don't die after biting-neighbors don't flea treat their "outside dog".
So far it's been manageable but parasites freak me out seeing one sends me into WWIII against creepy crawlies.
It's semi frustrating you can only use a few oral or topical monthly treatments on epileptics dog and I'm concerned sine only his dosage of pheno has been the variable that's the cause.
Vet says it shouldn't be an issue-but I'm seeing it actually appears to be. |
