Hi Reese, don't worry, many puppies do this, as gross as it seems. Mason did this for a while when he was younger (3-4 months)....when I come home from work, I'd find smear of poop on the floor but no poop!! Like you said, I'd smell poop in Mason's breath so I knew that he was eating it!! It was totally gross. I used deter for a couple of weeks and I started finding poop when I got home (whew.).

Now, Mason still eats his poop every once in a while, but not the whole thing. He would take a bite and leaves the rest.....I'm hoping that he will eventually grow out of this nasty habit!
