When I had to lift them back into the kayak it was easier with those handles. Life jackets, just like for kids, give you peace of mind. I am a big advocate of them. I still use them on my boys when they keep going in the pool and it's been 6+ hours and I know they are tired. I put them on them just to be safe. (they NEVER are around the pool unsupervised though).

I'd get life jackets if I were you though, you won't regret it, you'll have them for years just in case and you'll have good peace of mind if they have them on.

Have fun!!!
I agree- Jackson is a swimming fool but I put a lifejacket on him when I know he's gonna be swimming for a long time, so that he can keep going and not get overly tired... or if we are going to be on a lake, etc.

Have fun!!!!
