I am sorry....lets cut to the chase....feeling poorly for over a month....loosing weight....depressed....lethargic.....slightly elevated white count....bowel with gas.....vomiting again...missing hard plastic ear plug with ???! cord attached??!!!.....If he can not give you something definitive this evening, I would be loading my baby up and going to a vet school. A month is too long, in MY opinion, to be pitzing around, guessing this, maybe that, not real sure, .....and meanwhile, back at the ranch, the baby is not feeling well and is now loosing weight. There is SOMETHING wrong....."plug just floating around"????? No, lets start ruling stuff out....if that hard plastic plug in in her gut, it WILL show up on xray.....and it could be a partial bowel obstruction where she can still have small, soft BMs around that plug......if he does an abdominal series and does not see a plug, then we need to move on to something else....but that plug CAN NOT JUST "FLOAT AROUND" and not be cause for concern!!! If you do not find the plug on xray, that is not the problem....move on to plan B. You need some answers, either from this vet or someone else. I will allow these people to jerk me around by a chain for just so long, then I want answers.....these little dogs dont have a lot in reserve, that allows us to play around, guessing and supposing! Good luck with your baby...you keep on them until you get some answers...something definitive....or go for another opinion! You dont want to wait until you are in an emergent situation with this baby. |
