THanks for the well wishes everyone. I know it'll be okay. But that doesn't stop me from worrying!

I took him out today and he was so excited about going outside. He even got to sit up in the carrier on the passenger seat. At the pet hospital, he's still happy go lucky sniffing the other dogs there who are also being dropped off for one procedure or another. He was perfectly fine until the nurse started to lead him away from me and to the kennel area of the hospital. He kept looking behind him and sitting down draggin on the leash when he sees that I'm not going with him. I ended up walking with the nurse to the door of the kennel area and he gladly followed. But once through the doors, he looked behind him, doesn't see me, and started dragging again. No amount of coaxing from the nurse helped. She had to pick him up to go forward. It's sooo sad!!!

At the last minute, I changed my mind about having his front dewclaws removed. And because he had a bad reaction to his last set of shots, the vet decided not to give him his scheduled shots today. We'll just come back for them another day.

Pickup time is 4pm.... it's going to be a long day!!!! Any recommendations on what I should have with me when I go pick him up? Any advice on home recovery care?
