measles Actually, when I was pregnant the bloodwork showed I was not immune to the German Measles ( I think that was it...). I had all my kiddie shots, my dad was a pediatrician, so I had them all then some. Sometimes the immunity can wear off. I had to be-vaccinated. It is not common though.
I will probably follow the vet's advice per vaccines and use the internet to find questions that I should ask about frequency so as not to overdo them, but still be safe.
From this site I have learned that I won't do rabies at the same time again and I will question the Lepto because Maggie did have some reaction. She was very sore (I barely remember but I think she was trembling and acting like something hurt), to the point that I called the vet because she was not acting right. Gave her baby aspirin (1/2 tab) and she felt better. She was about 8.5-9 pounds at the time. |
