Default patience, patience

Wow! Lots of scratching this morning. She's still on a short course of cortisone I'm pretty convinced that I'm dealing with low thyroid -confirmed by bloodtest, environmental allergies and still not convinced, but trying, on the food elimination trial #2. She's all calmed down now, and fortunately not scratching her self raw. She goes to have her anals done tomorrow. She needs it every two weeks! Bless her heart, I am trying everything my vet and I can do. She doesn't go back to see him until the last week of May to check her thyroid levels. I've been reading up and she does not have symptoms of Cushings, which is what he thought might be it, too. Anyway, I appreciate the support and a place to talk.
