I think when Tibbe was sick this winter & I had him x-rayed, they did his entire body on one film and I believe it was $73.00 for the film/reading. Turns out he had very early focal pneumonia & because I caught it practically the day it began - certainly the day he began acting "funny", a single, simple round of antibiotics cured it & 3 weeks later, a re-x-ray & bloodwork showed a cured dog. The vet said had I waited even a day longer, Tibbe's lungs would have been far more invaded & the pneumonia very widespread. I was so glad I just got him in within 2 hours of the first wrong thing I observed. That early vet trip saved him so much suffering & serious illness & even worse. Just tell the vet up front if you do have financial concerns & I'm sure they won't do anything unnecessary & just do a check-up for any obvious things.
