Welcome to YT. I would recommend watching your puppy very closely. As Yorkiemom1 said, Parvo is highly contagious. I am not criticizing you for getting your puppy at 8 weeks but it is a concern, many Yorkie breeders don't place puppies until they are 12 weeks old. An 8 week old at 2.6 pounds is very vulnerable to so many things. They have only had part of their puppy shots and blood sugar can drop quickly. Please have your Vet on speed dial and Best wishes for a long and happy life together.
