Personally, we don't have the dog smell in our house either. Tatiana gets a weekly bath. We have hard floors throughout our home. Our sofa is leather, and it has a sofa cover that I can wash in the washing machine. Also, Tatiana's beds gets washed every week. She gets a clean toy every day. Her soiled toys from the day before gets put in her hamper (yes, Tatiana has her own hamper. She's family.
). When her hamper fills up, the contents get laundered.
I guess whatever holds on to odor gets washed (her coat, sofa cover, her bed, etc). The rest of our home does not hold on to odor (like the hard floor, walls, etc.)
