We use Hartguard Plus. Everyone gets half one morning and the other half the next morning. I started doing this because one of my poodles began not feeling well after getting the whole thing all at once. This seems to work so far.
I use Frontline but I dont put the entire vile on my yorkie,she share it with the pom. Both weigh between 6 - 7 lbs. So far I have found 1 flea this season and noone had Frontline on them at the time. I usually only put flea protection on if we are going out of town and they are traveling with us. I still do a nightly search for the little critters. |
