Honestly - me to! I wouldn't have given him back regardless - but doing things this way made it easier on me because even without my adoption contract they gave up their ownership rights by not looking for him! I'm very disappointed and angry at the way they treated him, but glad that he did run away - when I followed up and had his foster mom go over they put on a good show - but the truth is obvious. If they cared - they would have made SOME attempt to find him!
