To be honest, I have no clue how many small dogs my vet treats, but they are well respected here, so for now, I'll stick with them. I'm not someone who wants medication every time I visit, but of course I want a well and happy animal.
If the two threads are bothering anyone, of course one can be closed!

Oh I understand about your vet.... Two threads aren't bothersome, lol, just harder to keep up with.
I agree with you about medicine, but sometimes it is necessary.... if this is a bacterial enteritis, everyday the bacteria will be multiplying, so when he finally is medicated, he will need to be on meds longer as the problem had gotten worse. (just something to consider, not trying to bug you!)
