I don't know if I'm being unreasonable in what I want or not but it's taking me a long time to find the right breeder/puppy. :/ I'm looking for a male yorkie around 12 weeks of age, up to date on shots, well socialized, AKC registered, health gurantee, the parents need to be healthy and have had all the needed health screenings before being breed, but I don't want to spend more than 600. To put it bluntly I just want a puppy from a trustworth, reputable breeder who knows what they are doing. Am I being to unreasonable in what I want? How much was your healthy yorkie puppy?
Yes! You are wanting a cheap puppy from a reputable breeder, and it aint going to happen. If the breeder does not give their own vaccinations, you are looking at just about that much invested in a 3 month old baby, just in well puppy checks and vaccinations and worming, plus microchipping alone. You will have to do your own registration with the AKC! Health guarantees dont fall out of the sky free....the only thing you have not included in your "want" list is for the baby to already be neutered! All the things you are wanting, are acceptable, but they cost money!!!! More money than you want to pay for the pup to begin with! You have not even factored in the breeders labor and time and effort and experience and knowledge......maybe a rescue will have what you are wanting for around what you are wanting to spend....and you will be providing a puppy in need of a forever home, with just what it needs! Good luck in your search for your puppy!
