After passing out pictures and hand outs someone saw a dog that matched the description just a few blocks away, when he called sunny, the dog (who was in a fenced in area) came running. The fellow called the Police. The People who had the dog claimed they found him. Police had them return sunny to his owner.
So it does pay to canvas the area and have pictures and handouts.

Could it possibly be someone driving by saw the Yorkie in the front yard, UNATTENDED, and they were actually trying to do something good, by getting the dog before it ran into the street and got hit by a car, and they took the dog home and put it in their back yard until they could canvass the neighborhood looking for "LOST DOG" posters? Not everyone likes dogs inside their house, or maybe they had a big dog of their own inside and they didnt want the Yorkie to be attacked.....maybe they really did think they were rescueing a lost Yorkie? I mean, who in their right mind, lets their little Yorkie run and play unattended in the front yard? They probably thought the little dog had gotten loose or out from someplace.... Gosh....I could see me doing the very same thing!
